Shore Division

2024 SALMON-A-RAMA Shore Division Rules

The following rules and details are specific to the shore division and shore division subcategories only.  All other rules and details as defined in the 2024 SALMON-A-RAMA general rules are applicable to the shore division.

Shore Division - General

1. ELIGIBILITY, AND REQUIREMENTS

a. All participants must have a valid SALMON-A-RAMA shore ticket at the time that the fish is caught.

b. Eligible species are:

·   Chinook Salmon

·   Coho Salmon

·   Brown Trout

·   Rainbow Trout (Steelhead)

·   Pink and Atlantic Salmon will be weighed as Chinook Salmon

c. Shore Division participants are eligible to be on the leader board more than once for each eligible species. 

d.    Shore division anglers must access the fishing location by foot. Boats, Kayaks, or any flotation devices cannot be used to access shore fishing areas or restricted areas.

2. PRIZES AND AWARDS

a.     The shore division Grand Prize fish will be the largest fish caught of the eligible species.

b. Shore division participants are eligible to win the grand prize package, minus the Yamaha engine.

Shore Division - Master Angler

1. ELIGIBILITY, AND REQUIREMENTS

a. All participants must possess a valid SALMON-A-RAMA shore ticket at the time fish are caught.

b. Anglers must legally and in accordance with all other SALMON-A-RAMA rules catch at least one each of the eligible boats division species.

c. Eligible species are:

·   Chinook Salmon

·   Coho Salmon

·   Brown Trout

·   Rainbow Trout (Steelhead)

2. PRIZES AND AWARDS

c.     The first-place prize will be awarded to the angler that catches the largest total accumulated weight of the 4 eligible Shore Division species over the duration of the tournament.

d.    If no one angler catches all the eligible species, the Shore Master Angler Award will not be awarded.
